Home of the Universal Parenting Place

Counseling, Classes & Support for Parents, Children, and Families. Services available by telehealth, too. Learn more.

Kindred Place is a counseling and education center for adults and children. While our doors are open to all, we specialize in family dynamics. Through classes, individual sessions, and group therapy (available in English and Spanish), we help individuals and families navigate the challenges of partnerships and parenting to build stronger connections, improve communications, and resolve conflicts peacefully. Thanks to generous donors, we offer income-based financial assistance and free services for victims of domestic violence.

As a counseling center, guided by universal principles of empathy, understanding, and growth, Kindred Place stands unequivocally with Black, Indigenous, and people of color against racial inequities and injustice. We stand with children whose schools have more armed officers than counselors. We stand with mothers and fathers who fear for their children’s safety and for their own, every single day.
