Classes for Parents

From one-time seminars for divorcing couples to an 8-week program for families with teenage children, our classes are designed to support healthy family relationships with practical, proven tools you can use right away. All of our classes are led by masters-level therapists and are open to anyone. Advance registration is required in order to keep the group size small.

NOTE: We are offering limited in-person services as well as counseling sessions by telehealth in order to limit potential coronavirus exposure. Counselors are available by phone Monday-Thursday, 9-5 and Fridays 9-noon. Please call 901-276-2200 for more information, or send an email to

  • This one-time, four-hour seminar is designed for divorcing parents to help them avoid common pitfalls and ensure a healthy environment for their children. This course satisfies the court requirement for divorcing parents in the state of Tennessee.

    Currently, classes are held online via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:30 am-1:30 pm. Please pre-register at least 3 days prior to the class you want to join so that you can pick up the materials before the seminar.     Cost: $50 per person.

  • Couple to Co-parents is an eight-week course designed to help separated or divorced parents learn effective communication and conflict resolution skills and to foster sensitivity to their child’s needs in relation to both parents.

    Cost: $300 per person for full eight-week course, plus $50 intake fee.
    Income-based financial aid is available.

  • Adult and teen parenting education classes, using an evidence-based curriculum designed to teach positive discipline and foster healthy relationships.

    Cost: $300 per person for full course plus $50 intake fee. 10% discount if paid in full at intake.
    Income-based financial aid is available.
