Classes for Parents

March 2020: For the safety of our clients, staff, and visitors, all in-person sessions and classes are suspended until further notice as part of the public health response to COVID-19. Our counselors are available by phone Monday-Thursday, 9-5 and Fridays 9-noon. We have tele-health options available and an online co-parenting class.   • Couple to Co-parents is an eight-week course designed to help separated or divorced parents learn effective communication and conflict resolution skills and to foster sensitivity to their child’s needs in relation to both parents.

    Cost: $300 per person for full eight-week course, plus $50 intake fee.
    Income-based financial aid is available.

  • This one-time, four-hour seminar designed for divorcing parents to help them avoid common pitfalls and ensure a healthy environment for their children. This course satisfies the court requirement for divorcing parents in the state of Tennessee.

    Please arrive at 9:00 on Saturday morning.

    Cost: $50 per person.

  • Adult and teen parenting education classes, using an evidence-based curriculum designed to teach positive discipline and foster healthy relationships.

    Cost: $300 per person for full course plus $50 intake fee. 10% discount if paid in full at intake.
    Income-based financial aid is available.

  • Sometimes it feels like teenagers are from another planet. Their music, friends, and emotions change daily. A recent study found that raising adolescents is actually the most stressful time of all for parents.

    Navigating two different cultures can make things harder. That’s why we created Programa AMOR: Ayudándonos a Mejorar con Orgullo y Respeto.

    Cost: $300 (10% discount if paid in full; $50 deposit needed to reserve a spot.
    Income-based financial assistance is available.
